1. The Organisers will not be responsible for any damage, loss or injury whatsoever which is suffered by entrants, property or servants arising out of or in conjunction with this Show. It will be considered a condition of entry that each entry shall agree to indemnify the Organisers against any legal action arising from such accidents.
2. Objections must be made in writing to the Secretary’s Tent within 15 minutes of the incident in question, accompanied by a deposit of £10.00, which shall be retained if the objection is considered of a frivolous nature, but returned if the objection is sustained. The decision of the Organisers shall be deemed to be final.
3. Only Officials shall be allowed in the Rings.
4. The decision of the Judges shall be final.
5. All competitors must wear correct riding dress and this must include an approved hardhat. (Affiliated and Unaffiliated).
6. All Unaffiliated classes shall be limited.
7. No horse or pony may be entered more than once in any Class.
8. No horse or pony may be entered in more than three jumping events.
9. The Organisers reserve the right to alter the times and venue of the Show if they consider it necessary.
10. The Organisers reserve the right to refuse any entry without stating a reason for doing so.
11. All dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and foul must be picked up immediately.
12. Entries in Classes 27 – 31b inclusive are confined to Registered Horses/Ponies to be ridden in accordance with BSJA Rule 79.
13. Parking will be strictly controlled and anyone not conforming to the request of the Site Managers and Parking Stewards will be ordered to leave the Show Ground.
14. Competitors are not to muck out their boxes on the Show Ground and are asked to take their rubbish with them on leaving the Site.
15. No entry fees will be refunded except as in Rule 79.4 BSJA Rule Book. Show classes: no refund without a Vet’s Certificate.
16. In accordance with BSJA Rule 82.21, no member shall allow a stallion for which he/she is responsible as owner, lessee, authorised agent or rider to compete or be prepared to compete in any show jumping competition without taking adequate precautions to ensure other members of the public are not put at risk of injury.
17. All horses are to be kept within the designated areas. Trotting and cantering is only permitted in the warm up areas. Please walk in all other designated horse areas to avoid accidents.
18. All trophies not won outright at the 2008 Show to be returned to the Organisers at least four weeks before the date of the 2009 Show. Returning a trophy on the day of the 2009 show is NOT acceptable.
